The year was 2019 when it all began...

Anomalies were the main interest of the AAC for years, but they kept their business under wraps until then. Scientists Michael Ryan Rodgers and Ludwig Van Stern were figuring out a way to harness the abilities and powers of anomalies. It lead to the creation of the first two synthesis anomalies: Jack and Lavina. It also lead the anomaly uprising. The two escaped the facility, and the secrets of the anomalies were dispersed. The AAC revealed themselves to be an organization trying to use the anomalies for good, but when more and more of these incredible beings were being discovered, they, along with the government had to take some sort of action. Many people evacuated from their homes to try find safety from these new anomalies. Some stayed and sided with them. The AAC continued to hunt down anomalies, disguised as a corporation that would better the world, when in fact, they want to use them for war.

Fast forward to the present day, most cities are desolate and abandoned, with the exception of multiple AAC outposts littered around the globe.
