Hey everyone! Sorry for the inactivity, but I assure you I've been busy and spending my time well :) I've finally gotten around to at least polishing this enough for release, now keep in mind, there are a few bugs in this release but the game is plenty playable
I initially wanted this update to include the 5 endings I have planned out but due to my new job, I haven't been able to work on projects of my very own for a good while. The endings will still come, along with more content and a more robust room system, along with fancier modifiers (like my favorite, Spooky Mode that makes each room separated by a black fade transition)
But for now, the update includes:
New Monster: The Shrieker
Audio sensitive monster made up of steel and wires, with a microphone somewhere inside. It listens for the player and detects even something as subtle as the rustling of clothing, so keep quiet when near this creature!
Microphone sensitive! Configure your default input device before playing as no input settings are implemented just yet.
New Crafting System and Blueprints: Keycards and Shotguns
Craftable items can be used to help the player survive in the Backrooms
Will be expanded upon next update with Armor, Traps and Ammunition added to craftables
Search bar and sorting system will be added too
New Death Screen with score system
Score screen "Time Elapsed" currently bugged, will be fixed in the next update
Keep track of scores and compete for the highest
At some point, modifiers will affect the scores you get, meaning there is merit in completing a run on hard settings
New Mechanic: Sanity
Drains as you explore or witness traumatic events
Obstructs your vision and makes it hard to keep track of where you are
Can be staved and even fought off with a base of operations (a homebase made up of built props) proportionate to how many props are nearby (the more decoration/structure to your base, the more sanity it regenerates). Alternatively, you may slowly regenerate sanity while inside the Shopkeeper's Room.
Other Changes:
The Engorger now breaks placed objects.
The Player can now dodge with Right Mouse + Direction + Space
The Player now encounters the Flash Camera and a Metal Chest in every playthrough
Computers and terminals placed around the facility in random rooms with lore and other juicy stuff
Foods are more plentiful but less filling; don't worry though, cooking is coming next update
VHS Tapes were accidentally left in the game even though they go unused; they're supposed to be Save Tokens for when Saving is enabled. Should be in the game next update :) It was left out because of memory concerns
SETTINGS MENU! Fine tune your settings and get your game running good! Will add more settings soon in an upcoming patch or update
The Player can now craft better medical supplies with rags and other bits/pieces
The Engorger can now be killed, lit on fire, and stunned.
The Shrieker is metal and indestructible, and so, can't be killed, lit on fire, or stunned.
Props now always give items. They also have physics disabled for right now because of issues regarding items falling through rooms.

Known Issues:
Missing textures on some vault spots
Items float when they spawn instead of aligning to the floor level
Shrieker hears you from other rooms, sometimes pulling you into the Don't Breathe minigame despite that not being what's desired
Ceilings poke through some rooms
Elevators spawn late
AI stops after room ~150
The menu says it's 1.0.3 despite being the new update, God, who would ever forget to update the text on the menu, jeez, I know I wouldn't.
