The Beginning

I was inspired to build a game, when I played a lot of indie games here at gamejolt. Being a university dropout myself, that is not an easy task. There were a lot of things learned that I had forgotten, other than basic programming language. I choose Unity as my first game engine development, and started to learn C# programming language from scratch, after receiving several recommendations from my friends and some strangers here (thanks guys for the info). Basically, I’ve learned Java for 2 semester during my university, and while I forgot quite a lot of things, writing program codes is not one of them.

For now I could do several basic game mechanics on Unity. The only problems right now is I can’t really create good models and textures for my game. Fortunately there are bunch of websites that provide them to be downloaded for free.

So I hope I could finish my first alpha version of the game in the next three months, given that I have much free times or breaks from my job. I haven’t think about the idea, storyline or gameplay yet, but in the meantime I would learn more about what I could do with Unity.

I’m a noob here. Wish me luck.

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

My D&D art for my family so far (WIP if you couldn't tell)

Path of Kami, running around the shrine area

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

Here's a Fredbear sprite i made in Aseprite! I'm pretty proud of this!

(Btw, sorry for the double post! I'll try to post less)

New Teasers!

Got some fun collectibles in our game, Path of Kami!
