The Cardinal Crusade Demo release!


Rejoice friends!
The Cardinal Crusade Demo has arrived! So bring your sword and don your armour for the crusade has need for brave folk!

We are proud to present this public demo of The Cardinal Crusade. We have worked on this project for about 1.5 years in our spare time. It has gone through many iterations and although we have been forced to make some changes we are very happy with where the game is today.

The game itself is still a long way off from being finished. We are hoping to get some good feedback with this demo. So if you have any thoughts or ideas regarding the game, things you liked / didn’t like, please send it to us!

At the moment we are working on the game between jobs and studies. If you want to support our development, choosing to pay money for the demo here on gamejolt is one of the better ways to do it. All money donated will go to development or marketing of the game.
If you donate 4 or more dollars we will even include you in the credits as a supporter!
If you don’t want to/can’t donate, giving feedback is also immensly helpful!

Next up

Eldritchvania polish is continuing! This week I made some improvements to the options menu. Old ( top) vs New ( bottom). The new menu is more in line with our other UI, and also has some extra options which have been in our backlog for a while!

Post demo update!

Eldritchvania is nearing its completion at last.

While we can't give an exact release date, we are closer than ever, and hoping for a release early 2024.

Eldritchvania is full of devious puzzles. Some might be harder than they look. Will you be able to conquer them all? ( Its hard to show off puzzles without giving hints, but hopefully you wont be able to gleam too much from this!)

A look at a new enemy: The Core Guards Today we would like to show off one of the new enemies that you will encounter in world 3. These large, brutish soldiers are well armoured and will surely put up a fight! … Even if they have apples for heads.

A transformation Hello, in this devlog we’re showcasing an animation where the player character transforms into a smaller, flesh monster. Why is this in the game? What purpose does it serve? Perhaps more will be revealed soon…

We have been working hard on Eldritchvania, and we got some exciting news to share! We are almost content complete! That means that all main features of the game are finished, and we'll be moving on to the polish stage soon!
