Here's the idea for investigation 2.

You are an investigator of an abandoned school at night, all you have to do is survive and try to uncover the mystery behind a school shooting... Or at least what they described it to be.

An entity that you might have seen before (and the supposed murderer) hunts you, check the cameras every now and then to see where it is. It works in 2 different ways.

1) It'll start from the entrance making the way to your room, when it's absent from the cameras prepare yourself. When it breaks in, shoot it with a shotgun.

2) It'll rush towards the office, when you hear something is coming over very fast hide under the desk before it enters, the shotgun won't do anything.

Search for clues around the cameras and check if there is anything that has to do with murder. Once you've gotten enough evidences, you must make your way out of the school. Carry your shotgun around, if it happens to attack you do not hesitate and try to make minimum noise as possible or it'll get faster. If you start to hear someone is yelling from another room start backtracking and if there is no room to backtrack then hide.

Once you reach the entrance, you can quit and boom, you won !
