The Deep Terror Update | OUT NOW!

The Deep Terror update is finally here, after all these years. Originally shelved this update, but got the motivation to work on it again. This update's got a bunch of new content in store, so get ready.

Added: The camera system has returned, revamped and better than ever
Added: All enemies have had their models/animations completely reworked
Added: Berry the Bear's side quest and his unlockable epilogue cutscene
Added: 16 unlockable achievements
Added: Commander Nathan and Donny next to the submarine when that exit is available to show they did indeed survive
Added: A gun shot sound for when The Diver shoots his harpoon gun
Added: New ambience to the office and lab areas of the map
Added: New textures for most particle effects
Added: An additional gadget can now spawn in the office
Added: The ability to close and lock the door when it's open instead of having to manually close the door first and then lock it, saving you a little bit of time and your life
Changed: Some of the loading screen hints
Changed: The ambience that plays for Monochrome mode will now sound more like Strange Terror From Beyond the Stars
Changed: Polished and finished up the maze room in the lab
Changed: Raised the volume of The Diver's shot player voicelines
Changed: Wearing the diving suit from the locker room no longer depletes your oxygen
Changed: The emergency teleport button gadget will now teleport you to one of the two life support rooms
Changed: There is no longer a chance for no gadgets to spawn on the map (this was a pretty hindering mechanic, rendering Jay's "spawns with two extra gadgets" ability pointless
Changed: Increased The Abducted's run speed slightly
Changed: Slightly decreased Barney Barnacle's sprint ability speed
Changed: Fish Mush's goo traps are now easier to break free
Changed: The Atlantean Survivor, Anguish, The Abducted and Barney Barnacle attack animations
Fixed: A bug with The Diver that had only one of his voicelines play when shooting the player instead of one of the three that were recorded
Fixed: A bug where Barney Barnacle was still inside the capsule when he has spawned
Fixed: A bug where Gargantuan Shrimp's charge attack was barely applying a speed boost
Fixed: A bug where your oxygen would deplete before you select a monster in custom mode
Fixed: An exploit where players could kick the little gates from the wrong side
Fixed: The beartrap no longer behaves weirdly when attempting an escape
Fixed: UI being off-scale
Fixed: A bug where ???'s kill animation was delayed
Removed: The useless map gadget from the game

And that's a wrap! Hope you enjoy this chunky update for Strange Terror From The Deep and I'll see y'all next time.

Been itching to make a new small game again soon. Stuff like Slendy Something was such a blast to work on!

Shmackus Bonkus will bonk and smash, but I've no doubt in my mind he can fix all your problems. Probably not your broken furniture, though.

Done did it (aha, funny game reference) and got my new PC set up. Mostly transferred all my files now. Super excited to get back to work on this speedyer set up!

My favorite retro game will always be 40 Winks and I'll die on this hill that it's a great underappreciated game.

It is still a very flawed game tho, I won't deny, LOL #RetroGameDay

Rob the Killer is back from the grave!

Vex Clock is releasing on Steam in less than 24 Hours! Super nervous and excited. Hope people will dig what I've been building up these last three years

Over time the cast of Vex Clock went from being one dimensional to fully fleshed out characters with their own flaws and aspirations. Very happy in the long run that I took as long as I did to finish the game and develop their stories!

Been working on more goofy spooky stuff for Dave.EXE. Dropped a new bite sized update for the game today on Patreon in hopes of slowly building up a version of the game I'll be satisfied with releasing to the public on Steam. Hopefully this year!

Vex Clock is OUT NOW on STEAM!
