THE DEMO IS UPDATED! New Patch notes here (v.0.1.4)

The download link for the 2019 demo has been updated to address a few bugs and improves/polishes some bits based on feedback.

Main improvements:

-D-pads now work with controllers!

-Super Sonic's color palette now glows with Genesis accuracy

-Cave background no longer unloads after Special Stage

-Death Egg debris changed to more obvious mechanical pieces (some of you edgelords thought they were skulls! xD )

-Added a 3-page retro Instruction Manual!

-Added a teaser screen at the end, to establish that Knuckles will still end up an antagonist during the re-imaginging (can't spoil why just yet)

...and many more bug fixes!

Thank you all so much for the positive response to the demo. This is my directorial debut for a video game, and it's very validating after two plus years of work to hear the joy it brought!

Peace and Love,

Noah

The game we worked so hard on has just passed over 800k downloads on GameJolt! Years of hard work pays off, don't let them tell you otherwise. 😊 Thank you all SO MUCH!

The train boss in my fangame is named "Marve-Shupopolous-Gou." Yes, that is the canon name. "Shupo-shupo" is a Japenese onomatopoeia for the sound a train makes. #fangame #indiedev #sonic
