The Do Over

Project: Blue has received some criticism, rightly so, because our assets did not have a consistent style. Background elements clashed with the foreground elements, with the player and with each other.

Over the last month we have been taking an effort to try to fix that. Nearly all of the art assets for our background have been completely redone. The result is a much more consistent style. We plan on working on the player and enemies next and hope to have more to show soon.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

We made a lot of improvements on the Freezing Plains visual. Things like pine trees, tiny bushes, some rocks, and others game props!
