Yes, this game is connected to Dormitabis.

However, it is not connected to the ORIGINAL Dormitabis, or its story, or even the remaster's story. This game is a part of a new, full reboot of the entire series we are creating called the SLUMBER TRILOGY.

This Trilogy will be comprised of three entries:

• CRAWLSPACE: Insanity Remastered (this game)

• EVENHANDED: Insanity 2

• GATEWAY: Dormitabis Remastered

Though they call themselves remasters, think of it as more of a "Reboot", these games are gonna be VERY different from the games they intend to remake. Featuring new designs, lore, mechanics, ideas, and much more that makes them almost entirely new games, though using certain central themes, ideas, settings, gameplay elements and characters from their respective games that keep them true to the originals.

Remasters feels more fitting to describe these games as we intend to reuse a large portion of the original designs, keeping many of the character designs the same while redoing ones we believe need it and giving the gameplay a new spin and coming up with fresh concepts to make these games feel like the original ideas to their fullest potential.

If the Dormitabis connection turned you off to this game, I highly recommend you try to look past this series' past and play it. Join us on this journey to bring this series back to life, under new management, as we try to make these games the best possible games they can be. We're starting here and only going forward.
