The Fredbear Archives - Release 1.0

The time has finally come!

Fredbear and his friends have been eagerly awaiting your arrival. Is it time for you to give them a little visit, perhaps?

Experience the horrors of Miles Ahead in this Fredbear and Friends spin-off, available now on the main page.

Things to keep in mind:

  • You might encounter some bugs along your way, of course. Be sure to report them via the bug reporting system in the menu or the brand new Discord server, which you can find below.

  • The game is not fully complete. There will be more content added to the game over time, including new features, more collectibles, new maps, animatronics, and (maybe) seasonal events, as well as improvements and hotfixes.

  • Some collectibles, like certain audio tapes did not make it into the final game as they were not completed in time. More collectibles will come with future updates.

  • The game requires a very strong computer. Some parts of the game have not yet been fully optimized, especially the outside sections. The main part of the game should run mostly fine, however.

  • The leaderboard system has not been implemented, at least for now.

  • Some jumpscare animations are unfinished due to the animator being on holiday.

  • The easy difficulty is only meant for players who are really unable to complete the game. It’s extremely easy to beat, and I recommend playing on medium.

  • In general, the game was slightly rushed. It was mainly due to the fact that I have a ton of work to do outside of the computer screen, school included, and I wouldn’t have had time to work on the game and release it. Like stated above, future updates will improve the game.

Known bugs:

  • If you ‘achieve’ a trophy without logging into your GameJolt account, you will not be able to get that trophy on GameJolt even if you log-in later unless you delete your save.

  • Tapes cannot be replayed in the Extras unless you leave and exit the menu, or click on another tape.

  • The glowstick causes a huge amount of glow on bright surfaces when up close. This is due to multiple post processeses, and is not related to bloom. Unfortunately, this may not be fixed. Simply avoid using the glowstick in already well lit areas.

I have also created a new Discord server, made specifically for The Fredbear Archives. You can talk to me and other fans, as well as provide feedback and suggestions for the game.

Have fun!
