hello guys,
it's been a while since i've talked specifically about my game developing shenanigans. and i think it's time for a long overdue update on what has been going on behind the scenes. after finishing the june season last year, i decided to focus most of my time on my personal music career and youtube show. but i've been working on something in the background, for almost half a year now.
no more beating around the bush. the june season 2 is a thing.
i don't want to give too many things away for a very specific reason: there won't be a promotional rollout for this game. barely anything. i wanted to experiment with this a little bit, what it would feel like to have zero hype and barely any info for a new project. the june season 2 will drop on a random date, whenever i finish it, along with its release trailer. i'll try my best to keep all of this information hidden for the longest time possible. no plot, no screenshots (except for the one above), and no teasers.
i am willing to give a few extremely vague hints though, nothing too big. first of all, the game is going to feel absolutely detached from the original june season storyline at first... unless you really try your best to make lore connections, then it will all make sense. this game is also very emotionally driven, the story of this protagonist is tragic and really sad, even more so than daniel's... oh, that's another thing, daniel will not show up in this game, you'll play as a completely different person.
that's all the information i'm willing to give away, at least for now. i'm trying to make this game be even better, more balanced and rewarding than the first one in every way. expect the best, because the future ahead seems very bright. i just hope i don't end up dying before i get around to finishing it. ✨
