Wow, it's been a long time since I last came here to share something new about Lucky. Creating this render over the past week was a truly nostalgic experience.
After nearly two years without talking about Lucky, I think it's finally time to say the obvious:
I'm officially closing this chapter.
REGARDING THE LAST PROJECT:
Back in late 2024, I was working on a remake of TNAL 4. My goal was to showcase how much I had improved as a developer, with smoother animations, better presentation, and a more polished overall experience.
The gameplay remained mostly faithful to the original, but with several refinements. One feature I was especially proud of was adding camera animations for the animatronics—for example, Lucky would actually appear cutting the facility's power on the security cameras instead of it simply happening off-screen.
By the time I stopped development in December 2024, the project was about 60% complete.
Because of that, I plan to release the map models, character models, and the Clickteam MFA project here in the future so anyone interested can see what was being developed.
WHY DID I STOP DEVELOPING IT?
The main reason was simple: I had many ideas, but I no longer wanted to develop games entirely on my own.
Toward the end of 2024, I met @JhonKK
, who later became both a good friend and the owner of Myxer Studios, the team I'm currently part of.
At the time, I wanted to work on something completely new—something beyond Lucky—and I was looking for a more ambitious project. When the opportunity came, I decided to dedicate myself fully to it, and as a result, the TNAL 4 Remake was permanently put aside.
WHAT AM I DOING NOW?
Since March 2025, I've been working on Coffy's Retake at Myxer Studios, and the project is now approaching completion.
If you visit @JhonKK
's profile, you'll be able to see the current state of the project.
I'm responsible for the game's programming and environment modeling.
WHAT COMES NEXT?
I'll continue working with Myxer Studios on future projects and keep moving forward as a game developer.
The render attached to this post was created entirely from scratch—including a brand-new Lucky model that I recently made.
For me, this isn't a teaser for a new project.
It's a farewell.
A spiritual goodbye to the character that marked the beginning of my journey with Clickteam and game development.
I created the original Lucky when I was 12 years old, dreaming of making games.
Now, almost 18, I'm incredibly grateful for everything I learned, everyone who supported me, and every person who played my games over the years.
Thank you all for being part of this journey.
I'll see you again in Coffy's Enhanced Retake.
