The Future of Playtime with Percy [10/13/24]


To cut right to the chase- today is not only the 1 year anniversary of the game; but it's also the day I chose to reveal a lot of what we're doing next for the game, this post is generally going to cover the major points of everything - and WILL be updated regularly, so keep an eye out in-case anything changes!

ANDROID PORT - BEING REWORKED (10%)

Yes, if you can believe it, this is still being worked on. To give some insight - Yunivers, the lead and sole developer of the port, was working with the "V1.5" update of the game, while the PC version is currently on V1.9 - so to make both versions fair, we've decided to restart development on the port. Yunivers is incredibly efficient in what they do, and I have a lot of patience with them, so progress will be made in no time. So don't fret - I will see this port get made... eventually.

UPDATE: Progress has been made yet again. Only time will tell when this is finished!

"EXPANSION" - 25% COMPLETED [RESUMING SOON]

This is not what you think it is. The most I will reveal, is that this is an expansion. It is not a new game, but we are working on a decently-sized project that expands the world that I have created; answering some questions, as well as leaving some mysteries about these characters. There's a little something for everybody in this, and while it's still fairly early-on, I think people will like it. We hope to get it done more once the plushie advertisement video is out of the way, though, so it's not a top priority right now. It's also not DLC.

Next up

Another Christmas Update + More

Though I posted it originally, to keep up with the late-trend of me updating/redoing the poses for all drawn characters - here is the finished Percy Poodle one! Though not a lot changed, I just edited the face a little lol

Next up to bat are Rowen Rat and Sunny Sheep, really particularly proud of how I got Rowen's tail and overall pose here, same with Sunny's hands!

Happy Halloween!... And an ALSO happy 1-year anniversary to the short animatic we released around this time - "Percy's Playhouse in: Hallowed Hijinks"!

Christmas Update + More

Second to last batch - it's Farmer Felix and Mother Moose! I originally had a different idea for MM's pose (that eventually went to Sunny), but I thought it'd be cute if these two specifically reflected each other :)

And the last two of the batch, Charlie Cat and some weird yellow looking dog! These poses are probably the more "crazier" ones of the bunch, but the other one I really wanted to do. It was funny!
