As I was putting together the demo update’s changelog for this post I was surprised at how much has been accomplished. While some things have stayed the same, there are a lot of additions and improvements that I hope you’ll enjoy.
I’ll be releasing the pre-alpha demo update some time next week (before the 19th)
Here’s what you can expect:
Additions
You can now craft and equip gear
Added crabs
Added bears
Added lizards
Added the ColoRegion effect
Added the items that will be dropped by defeated enemies (even some enemies that aren’t in the game yet)
Updates
Updated the layout of the secondary cave
Updated the outside overworld
Updated pause menu
Updated health bar
Updated game beginning
Updated umbrella combat
Updated player movement so you won’t get stuck on a corner as easily
There’s the list of everything I can think of. There are almost certainly some smaller things that I’m not thinking of.
Well, I need to get back to work. The last thing I want to do is underestimate how much work it will take to wrap up.
