The #GMTKJam is over, here's some interesting data about the extensions that were used in the projects submitted for the jam!
In total, 24 games in the jam used a mix of 27 extensions

This is why scratch doesn't add new blocks FYI. The sensing_online block was added out of irritation rather than care.
The Scratch Team has just recently updated their Terms of Service yesterday, letting you know they now have full permission to use your content to train AI models.

In case you need your heart broken, there's evidence to suggest Scratch Team were seriously considering allowing blocks to placed inside of variable dropdowns.
Evidently, that fell through. Something didn't work.
