THE KRAKEN + Final Deepsea Bosses!

Meet the Kraken, a pretty rare Mega Boss of the Deepsea biome, as well as the Kraken’s minions, the other weaker Mega Bosses.

The Kraken

Having part of your face ripped off is painful. The Kraken understands that better than anyone.

Old one-eyed Kraken.

Enough silliness. This is what he really does:

The Kraken will start hiding under the screen, his massive body stretching across the level. Once summoned, however, he will let out a huge roar and swing his tentacles back and forth. These swings are not terribly fast, but his vast size makes them very hard to dodge. Getting hit by the head of his tentacle does a whopping 33-41 damage, and getting hit by the arm does a still great 15-26 damage. Ripping off any of his tentacles are extremely difficult, as he has large, bony structures that resemble normal body parts, which will reflect your rays, as well as the fact that they are constantly moving, putting you at the risk of being severely damaged repeatedly. Eventually, The Kraken will rise his head above the surface for a short while, temporarily making his eyes, parts of his mouth, and his massive ink-shooters vulnerable to attack. He will randomly choose an attack. 1. He begins to suck in all the water around himself (has no effect on the terrain), pulling you towards him. If you are pulled into his mouth, you are instantly killed. If you survive, he will spit out three random Deepsea enemies or one severely weakened Deepsea boss. 2. He will launch enormous bursts of poisonous ink, which outright heavily damages you and temporarily slows you as well as draining your life over time for 10-40 seconds. 3. He spins rapidly in circles, his huge tentacles battering the player and flinging them back and forth. The rarest and most dangerous attack. He will continue in this pattern until killed.

Now, for the other Deepsea mega bosses:

Shockjaws

Very zappy. Fight with caution of electrocution. Also looks like the game over text didn’t properly load on this one. Will have to fix that. :/

Slimelord

Squishy, big, and highly toxic. Don’t mess with this jellyfish.

Cyclops (managed to fix Flounderfish bosses! :D)

Lost 2/3 eyes in combat. Still deadly though.

Sonic Boom

Very loud fellow. Screams a lot.

Sound Flound

Three brothers that think they have a great singing voice but really sound so bad it could kill. XD

Silverskin

Derpy looking but very powerful and deadly.

Shoobies leave a sticky trail of mucus in their wake, which can impede movement for any creature that steps in it.

Here's a peaceful little forest scene for this #screenshotsaturday, from the beginning of the game.

Updated the chest in the maze, adding sound, particles and better animation. But what's in the chest?

Just a Pico sprite

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

Finished work on the emotions of a new character for the tank universe
