There’s a saying about project management -and projects in general – that the last 10% takes 90% of the time.
Maybe it’s not exactly 90%, but it does take a lot of time.
Why is that?
Polishing, last minute changes, usability tests (and changes due to to tests), voice acting, QA, and much more.
There are a lot of small tasks to do in the latest phase of development, that will bring the game to its full potential.
That’s where we are right now.
Those Who Remain has all the content in the game, and it can be played from beginning to end.
We’re now polishing the whole experience (we’ve actually been polishing for some time now), adding sound effects and voice acting.
Voice acting is always important in a game. We feel that if the VA isn’t good enough, then it’s best to have text only.
Those Who Remain has a dramatic narrative, which makes it even more important to have good voice acting.
We found some really good actors that were up to the challenge, who we’ll be announcing soon.
We want everyone to be able to play the game, so we’re localizing it for a lot of language. The full list will be announced soon too.
What this all means is that we have a lot more to show right now 🙂
The announcement trailer was mostly to show the environment and overall feeling of the game… the next trailer will be focused on gameplay.
We hope you’re having a fantastic August, preferably in brighter places than Dormont**
Oh and in case you’re thinking “Can I wishlist this game on Steam? Gee I wish I could!”
The answer is: Yes you can! Just head right here: https://store.steampowered.com/app/715380/
