Thank you for following Animatronics Attack! I really appreciate all your support!
This is my most ambitious project so far, and it won't be the last! The reason I decided to stop working on Animatronics Attack! is simple: I wanted to focus on something else, working on a new game (maybe!? )
Also, I felt that the game didn't need more updates, it was already fun and perfect as it is. If you are interested, I'd like to go back to what I was planning for Animatronics Attack! a few months ago:
First of all, even before working on version 1.1.0, I had planned to add a new map, the one from Five Nights at Freddy's 2 and then the ones from the following games in the series to diversify the gameplay. This map would allow you to play with the toy versions of the animatronics.
In the end, I came up with the idea of a shop with skins of animatronics from the whole series, with a coin system.
Secondly, I always thought about a mobile version, and I even spent several months working on it, and some versions even work perfectly!
But it was way too much work to make sure the gameplay would work on all operating systems (both Android and iOS or whatever) and some features, like the possibility to link your Gamejolt account, would not have been implemented for compatibility issues.
Thirdly, I thought of adding a multiplayer mode. It would have allowed players to play together, with the animatronic and the guard roles being given at the beginning of the game. Being way too ambitious, with my little experience in multiplayer games and many bugs I couldn't fix, I couldn't finish adding the mode due to lack of time.
Finally, the last feature I would have liked to add would have been made possible with the multiplayer mode. Players could role-play in different maps, or even play hide-and-seek, playing as many different characters from the series as they want.
I really wanted to add everything, but it was too much for one developer with so little time. Animatronics Attack! will stay on Gamejolt, with its latest version 1.1.1 and I'll move on. You can always come and support me on other upcoming games, and to be notified, you can always follow me!
Thanks for all your support.
See you soon!
