The Meat of the Post

I'm sure that some of you in Mar's community have heard of a person named "stupiddev". He's not that well known from what I've seen, but from what I've heard, he was honestly a really big asshole. I'll just go ahead and explain this little thing first.

From what I remember, stupiddev made a lot of slop games (one of them being AWWJ on Scratch but worse) and was really rude towards Mar and his friends, but I won't explain any further since I'm not too familiar with the situation. I just felt like bringing that up first.

My Personal Experience

Back in 2023, I started making a game inspired by AWWJ named Liam's Fantasy Land on Scratch/Turbowarp and in June of 2024, I posted a video of the camera system in the old AWWJ server. You're probably wondering what this has to do with stupiddev. I'll get there.

What happened was that stupiddev found the video and told me to give up on the project while I still could. I was extremely pissed off seeing this because he was being unnecessarily harsh about it which led to me crashing out and some other drama.

I became depressed working on LFL after that, and the progress began to slow because of how much of an asshole this guy was and how he gave Mar and his friend group a really bad name. This was pretty much why the original LFL was cancelled.

Conclusion

Seeing most of stupiddev's horrible actions and hearing people shit talk about him and his attitude was really satisfying to see. Crashing out on him may not have been the right choice, but because of how much of an asshole he was, I didn't really have any other choice.

In fact, this has motivated me to continue the original version of Liam's Fantasy Land, which will become the Classic Mode of the game. However, the Classic Mode will not be canon, it will just be a little thing to play before the revival, but a few things in it will be.
