The NCAA has brought down punishment on the Michigan Wolverines for their sign-stealing scandal that occurred from 2021-2023. Punishment list is below.


4 years of probation.

$50,000 fine as well as 10% of the program’s budget.

25% reduction in official visits for potential recruits for the 2025-26 season.

14 weeks of prohibited recruiting communications.

Head Coach Sherrone Moore: 2 years of show-cause and two-game suspension.

Former head coach Jim Harbaugh: 10 years of show-cause.

Former staffer Connor Stallions: 8 years of show-cause.

Former staffer Denard Robinson: 3 years of show-cause.

Financial penalties are expected to exceed $20 million from these punishments.
