This year was not the best by any means. I couldn't bring myself to do anything interesting for the most of it. I've ran out of motivation countless times, I delayed and cancelled projects due to my procrastination. School was a drag as always and to top it all off i had to remove my gallbladder due to gallstones, that's all you're getting, i dont really like to overshare.
I've had feelings of not being good enough in general, not good enough for my friends, not good for anything. I felt miserable, but I didn't say anything, It all just felt like non-issues to me, I thought maybe i could move on past these things, so people wouldn't have to worry for me as much. As it turns out, bottling up your emotions is NOT a good thing, so i decided to be more open to them about this, and as it turns out PEOPLE LOVE AND CARE FOR ME i know its crazy.
Also, im unsure about this, maybe this happened on late 2024 or something but i believe this is the year where i realized i am bisexual, Boys and Girls CRAVE ME!!!! Or do i crave them? π€π€
For this special occassion, I have decided to create a retrospective, to celebrate 4 years of CopperGames! :DDDDD These games, even with how awful they are, are a big source of happiness for me, i had blast making them and they bring back wonderful memories! Let us... Begin... π
(Certain games are not going to be here cuz theres nothing interesting about them)
Midnight at Seth's

My first game. Ever. I remember being so excited releasing this on ny scratch account! Although the quality of the game is... Questionable. The graphics are strange, i decided to use pngs for cameras and just like, add the characters in afterwards? It felt very out of place and made no sense i don't know what possessed me to do that. Before the update the game was piss easy, you really just had to check two cameras and press buttons accordingly. The update added an equivalent to FNAF 6's task system, it was meant to make Seth and Toaster Seth more of a threat as they were basically nonexistent, but i made the horrible, horrible mistake of keeping their og speed. They were REALLY fast, it made the game long and unneccessarily difficult. After that tho, I decided to add a secret night for halloween where you fought off skeletons instead Seth and his evil clones. I had not play tested this and even now im unsure if it even works properly but you can try if you want, the code is hidden somewhere inside Joey's Funhouse 2 in the camera sprite.
As for what it felt to work on this game? Well, I was EXCITED seeing how it all worked out. I've tried countless time to create a game before, i looked up tutorials and everything! But nothing worked out because of how inexperienced I was. But how did i figure it out you may ask? Simple: just steal someone's code lol! Don't worry, i grew out of that after i stopped publishing games on scratch. All games on my account have 100% original code!!!!!

Midnight at Seth's 2

The badass sequel. This game takes place after Kevin blows up Seth's house, his body is somehow still intact and he gets buried in some random forest. He unexplainable returns as a zombie along with a strange batch of characters, they were essencially OCs of people who were friends with me (or at least thought to be friends?? I have no idea)
The characters here are made by @APDGuy
, @ShadedHorizon ![]()
(who's only here because he was in an old server by APD btw) and @_pippleshidy
![]()
I dont know why i picked these three specifically but it's whatever honestly. As for the gameplay, its very similar to the first, pretty much just pressing buttons, but there's at least a lot more going on than it's predecessor.
There is a shock button at the cabin for some bizarre reason, you have to click it to get rid of Seth when he enters. The infamous fart button is back again, this time you use it on Patillo and Shadow Mario when they get inside. Golden Pipple is very special, he appears in one camera, and you have to press a specific button to get rid of him, crazy I know.
There's a lot less to talk about this game as it's basically the same game with like 2 characters changed.
There's not even any secrets or anything its just really lame.
My Overall Rating: 3/10
The Billy Game

This game was my attempt at making a standard 2 doors fnaf game, it did not go well. For one, there is no power, if you keep the doors shut for too long a demon kills you instead, his killtimer resets everytime you open them up again, or at least i believe it does so. This means you can just close the doors and open them over and over again, and the fact Billy instantly leaves the moment you shut the door on him doesn't help.
The only other major threat is Tim, who makes his way to the vent. You have to press the Fardβ’ button to scare him away, but sometimes, it might be Tom who enters the vent instead, you don't press it when he does that it's very wrong to do.
Stephen doesn't count cuz you have to be at the cameras for a while for him to show up.
This is also the start of me actually making drawn sprites for the cameras and the office, and they are very vibrant and stupid, honestly.
My Overall Rating: 3/10
Sinick.wav

This might genuinely be my worst game ever. The mechanics suck, the gameplay is horrible this is just genuinely a shit game that has no reason to exist.

Pumpkinator's Lab

A game made for @Pumpkinator
, not sure if it was meant as like a birthday thing or if i just decided to make it because i wanted to.
This game is very simple, and also not good, sorry. This is a waste of your time (if you're not Pumpkinator that is)
My Overall Rating: 1/10
Joey's Funhouse

I had the idea for this game after my bud @Regalito
decided to post these little guys for seemingly no reason, so i decided to take them by FORCE and give them their own game. The game itself is not anything special really.
The mechanics are very simple and uncreative, it is unfortunately a very forgettable game outside of the inside joke.
My Overall Rating: 3/10
Joey's Funhouse 2

This one doesn't even have a thumbnail so you know it's good. This game was my first attempt at a FNAF 2-like sort of. It has a bunch of characters, most of which can be dealt in similar ways. This was also my first attempt at giving characters multiple paths to navigate, although they don't even matter that much.
One big issue this game has is how detrimentally slow it is. The characters are slow and hours go by 3 minutes, you would have to spend at least half an hour trying to beat this one game.
Amazing phone guy voice acting by @RFreddy
Thank you bro

Seth's Awesome Night 2

This is where i'd say it gets somewhat good. You may be asking where the first game went, do not ask that question. This game was the main inspiration for Wally's Awesome Night, as I've felt this game could've been great with just a few tweaks.
This game is not great by any means, there are issues i cannot since it's been a while since i've played this game. The game is only ever so slightly better than Midnight at Seth's 1 so.
My Overall Rating: 4/10
Joey's Funhouse 3

Joey is back, as a demon. This game was made due to a small youtuber playing the original Joey's Funhouse (which sucks). This game used to have a fuckton of characters for some reason, it really didn't have to, which is why most of them are gone now.
Shoutouts to @APDGuy
for the incredible voice acting btw it's incredible.
My Overall Rating: 3/10
Seth's Awesome Night 3

This one is interesting as it had an old version that was never published. There would a be television on the center along with two doors on the sides. The reason why it never came to be was because of scratch constantly crashing when i tried to load the sb3, so i decided to make an entirely different game instead.
I wasn't particularly fond of this game, and im unsure as to why. Maybe because of what it could've been, or maybe because it doesn't live up to what my games were at the time. I do not think this bad is "bad" by any means, It just feels very lacking to me at least.
My Overall Rating: 4/10
Seth's John Awesome Night 4

This game is where my most ICONIC!!!! Characters debut, such as Mr. Kimmers, Nooby, Nooben, Lemmy, and Joe. I tried to actually do 1-20 AIs in this game, and i did it in the most shitty way imaginable, basically characters had a preset timer that was subtracted by their AI level, I did this without dividing the AI by 5, it looked a little like this:
Wait 40 - AILevel seconds
Basically 20 seconds at max AI, it was a very shitty way of programming things and i would thankfully drop this method after this game. The game has questionable decisions all throughout, such as the invisible camera button you can only see if you hover your mouse at the bottom, the text being nearly the same color as the background, making it hard to read the character mechanics, and the strange golden versions of Nooby and Nooben that have no reason to exist.
The radio is cool tho, expect this game to be remade in the future.
My Overall Rating: 4/10
One Night at McBaldi's

I actually don't remember why i made this, something must have possessed me or something. Gameplay wise, the game is ridiculously easy, you can beat it before Baldi even gets to you, soooo there's that.
My Overall Rating: 3/10
One Night with Mason

Mason walked so peak could run. This is where I became the MASTER of games. This game originates from me and @Ellyvoir
meeting the infamous MASONBOI123456 and playing his crazy games, I had decided the best way to defeat my game dev burnout at the time was to make a game about the man himself.
The characters in this game were chosen at random, i asked the Discordβ’ what characters to add and added them. Negative Sestor is there, I don't know why, It has nothing to do with Mason.
This game was by far the most fun to make, and my friends helping me out made it better. I look back on the jokes we made often and it's very fun.
The game is receiving a new update that adds infamous Gamejolt user BlixertheGamer (who has me blocked please unblock me Blixer) in his own night as well as cutscenes. It's being coded right now by @RFreddy
who has cancelled 2 of my games out of sheer hatred for me so yeah don't think its coming out guys sorry.
My Overall Rating: 5/10
Wally's Awesome Night

Probably what most of you know me for. This game is meant as a loveletter to my past and my present. As stated before, the game was inspired by Seth's Awesome Night 2, and I feel like i paid great homage to that game.
I tried to make the game somewhat lively, giving the characters personalities and all, this is kind of the start of the Wallyverse and you have this game to thank for whatever else i do with these characters.
Flipswitch mode is shit however, i plan on remaking it in a future update. But right now the game is being updated by @RFreddy
Who is REMOVING ALL THE CONTENT OH MY GOD STOP NO NO PLEASE PLEAS

One Night with Jonochrome's Brother: Rebrothered

A game for my buddy @RealCario
the KING. This game was made as a way for me to capture the simplicity of my older games (i.e Joey's Funhouse), it is a very simple but challenging experience!
This was a very fun game to make, most of it was being coded on vc with my buds. A new update is being made by @RFreddy
so give up all hope this game is being infected with sin.
My Overall Rating: 8 Jonochromes out of 10
Wega's Ultimatum

The game I am currently working on and It is looking mighty fine so far! Working on it has been fun and Endless seems very chaotic. Keep in mind the game is still in a sort of beta state and things are bound to change.
I hope you fellas enjoy it as much as i enjoyed making it :)
No rating until the game is done.
Plans for the future
Throughout this year i've had the time to brainstorm some wild ideas in my head that i may try in the future. This includes probably my first non FNAF Fangame!? Holy shit!
Outside of my gaming stuff... Tara Quest is continueing!!! Do not worry about it!!!! Im just full of game dev juice right now. I've been using game dev less of a way to make silly games and more of a way to express my personality, Im glad to have come so far in my coding journey and eternally grateful to my friends for being by my side throughout the year! I've met a ton of wonderful and funny people, and even if some roads were bumpy, it doesn't change the fact that I love all of you dearly! Thank you all so much and have a happy new year from yours truly! :)
Until then, stay tuned.
