... The old man, he was a professor, who was also the only one who actually knew more than the other character's about this world and the Digimon and may have had a way back home... Just died. Oh shit I'm so screwed.

And you want to know the worst part of all? Shuuji & another party member was running from a giant fox Digimon, The party member tripped. Instead of quickly helping her SHUUJI DECIDED TO LEAVE HER FOR DEAD AND RUN AWAY KNOWING FULL WELL SHE WASN'T GOING TO MAKE IT!

The professor saw this & immediately rushed towards the girl to try help her escape. The Digimon caught up to them and right before it attacked the other party member... The old man jumped in front of the blow trying to protect the party member & it knocked him over the edge of the dam we were all standing on and he... Fell to his death.

R.I.P. Professor, You will actually be missed. You were also the only adult on the party! I almost cried when I saw this happen.
