The PAL Resolve - Update of the Time 3


it's been centuries since the last update, so here's a new one!!!!!!! i've been up to a lot despite being busy with... school..........

here's a little bit of what's been going on!!

first and foremost, the game has a new logo!! i wanted to polish up the old one because i cobbled it up in like a few minutes LOL.

the reason for a lack of updates is due in par to me reworking the entire game. i wasn't really happy with the overall structure of the game, so i've been taking a lot of time to brainstorm and have the game in a way that i'm actually happy about. the main difference between now and before the rework is the game being seperated into a chapter by chapter basis as opposed to how it was before, wherein the game had no chapter structure and locations and events were just kinda thrown in. with the new chapters, hopefully the game can feel like an actual adventure with the funny titular poodle character. now that i have a better blueprint of the game, i can start to chip away at it a LITTLE faster than i was before.

one extra little thing is that i decided to add new windowskins for the game!! while i have no problems with the original tamagotchi one, it's nice to have other options that look more appealing than the iconic (and ugly) tamagotchi green. personally, the black and white one is really pleasant and i much prefer it, but it's ultimately all up to player preference!

one last thing i wanna talk about is a battle gimmick!! much like many other rpgs, this one has elements, or as the game calls them, attributes!! i'll let our good buddy PAL explain attributes.

attributes should hopefully add some more strategy to make battles more interesting!! like PAL said, make sure to keep enemy weaknesses and resistances in mind when choosing what moves to use in battle.
