Hi all, so the gaps between posts is getting larger and larger at points, but don't worry, everything is fine. I want to quickly go over what's currently happening, and what's coming this year, so strap yourselves in.
FNaS All-Stars
All-Stars was on a short hiatus for a while due to complications with our main artist Mark, he broke his Ipad, but it's fine now so we are able to continue anytime. The game itself is shaping up to be quite nice, I plan to go back to games like FNaS 1 and 2 to improve menus and add visual effects for their All-Stars variant!
Unknown FNaS project
For the past, idk, 2 weeks we have been working on a new FNaS games, a remake to one of the most beloved FNaS games, we are getting major progress done and you SHOULD see a release in a few weeks. Trust me this is gonna be cool.
April Fools Game?
Doing April fools every year gets a lil boring, and since I missed last year I plan to make up for it this year, with another game, this one mostly solo made with some inputs from friends. I won't say what it's about but I can already say, it is NOT intended for kids, it's pretty "hardcore" I think the word is.
It's also very goofy.
...who am I kidding people are just going to play it anyway, no matter the age, lol.
Itch,io Page
I briefly talked about the fact that I am making an Itch,io page, which yes it's still happening, the first game to release on it will likely be the April Fools one, then the Unknown FNaS project, and then ending with All-Stars and what ever follows after.
A new method of development, making up for past mistakes.
It is very common knowledge that I don't have the best track record when it comes to projects, lol. I have only released 2 full games from the like, 10 projects I've worked on, and one of them is LOST MEDIA! (Rip in peace Fun with Plushnic, you were so bad but you were my first finished game.) I know the issues and reasons why and I aim to fix and make up for it. All-Stars for example, old cancelled projects of mine, FNaS 1 Remakes, a FNaS 5 Remake, FNaS 4 DLC, hell even Plushnic to some extent, all of that is IN All-Stars AND has major progress. (1R mostly) By the end of next year, I want to make up for most of my games cancellations, (aiming for 50%!) which includes looking into my VERY old projects and seeing what can work for a "remake". Minus of course Maniac Mania, I just want to move on from that one, "strive to be better."
Either way, Game Development IS a hobby for me and I have no intentions to make it my full time job, I do plan on finish my college course (4 months to go WOO!!) and getting a job so I can earn some actual money to, y'know, LIVE. I am an 18 (19 next month :O) year old man who still makes games that look like someone half my age can do.... better. But honestly graphics, popularity, yadda yadda is not important to me, cuz in the end this IS my hobby, it's a goofy time for goofy results.
Saying this, don't be surprised if things get, y'know, cancelled or they take ages, cuz in the end I am not bound my contracts to finish what I and others start, it's a pass time for me and not a job. With that being said, All-Stars and other things WILL be a turning point for me, which I hope I make more released games than I do cancelled ones.
That's all, bye!
