The plot's on hold (for a good reason)

Now this is something that I’m sure all one of you aren’t too supprised about, but the plot development for A Necromancers Tale is officially on hold for the moment. Why? Because a remake is in the works. We’re remaking the game in RPG Maker MV in order to allow people on Mac, Linux, Android, and IOS (along with anything else that supports HTML 5). “But pokedyl, why do that when you could do more with the story instead?” I hear you cry (or at least, those whose cries can reach us). Well, two reasons: 1. We’ve been thinking about doing this for some time now, and 2. It’ll be more efficient to do this now, rather than later, when the story is more fleshed out. Unfortunately, there is some bad news considering the MV edition: There won’t be any controller support (MV doesn’t have any controller support); also, it won’t be as polished, due to the fact that there’s no IDE for making plugins and the like (shame on you, Kadokawa), therefore, it won’t be as good as the Windows version (sorry about that, it’s not favouritism, I swear). Finally, there’s the third problem, the Android version won’t be tested due to none of the development team owning an Android device. We will require user feedback for testing. Anyway, thank you, everyone, for following the game (although only one person is making it official), and for remaining patient so far.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
