The reason why I gave the Minecraft characters new names and clothes is because I wanted to try something new and different
Remember the SMG4 and SML Nintendo DMCA? Yeah, I don't want that to happen to me (Except it's the creator of Minecraft (Notch))
In real life Notch used to be the creator of Minecraft but in my universe Notch is the creator and owner of Minecraft and he does NOT want me to use his original characters (Steve, Alex, etc.)
[Notch is also basically Lawyer Kong from SMG4 but Minecraft]
So that's why I decided to give Steve, Alex and the others new names and outfits to not get caught by Notch
