Hi, this isn't a post I'd usually make but due to how untrustable a majority of the internet has gotten, no matter what age you can be, I feel like this is mandatory for me to talk smth like this because some people do not even try to learn from past mistakes. It's also because I'm going to be 18 years old 4 months afterwards which I need to get this off my chest because this is one of my biggest worries in the future and onwards.

If you saw the image in this post or haven't been living under a rock I don't need to do any sort of introduction into the topic but all I can say is that the quote never believe anything you see on the internet thing that a lot of people introduced to the very bizzare world of internet is long gone and thrown into the trash.

From the past 3 years, I don't think there have been a time where someone didn't get accused of being a pedofile and/or got exposed as a pedofile, let alone the said pedofile learn their own mistakes and improve themselves. Now obviously I'm in the belief that pedofiles should not be forgiven but let's say they somehow DO they won't be entirely forgiven because what led them to be a "better person" will forever be an irremovable black dirt to theirselves and never will they ever be seen as the person that one used to be before it all.

And there's also the people who looks to their own mirror reflection, thinking they are Chris Hansen and try to expose others for "greater good" but what they are actually doing is ruining the images of very known creators either because they are jealous of their accomplishments or out of spite, perhaps both but I am a 12th grade/senior high school student, not a judge.

This has gotten to a point so bad that the fake ones gets believed by just saying one word and the actual people who goes on their way to commit the said horrible things on purpose gets away like a leaf blown away by the wind. That's not even scratching the surface because EVERYONE is like a moon with a dark side no one can't see unless exposed and it takes one lie for an innocent content creator to fall apart with their years of hardwork. One thing that makes me paranoid that had me not go out from my comfort zone to talk with different people that may or may not have the same interests as I do, because again I saw various people getting exposed for horrid doings and even though some were false, others happened to be true.

This is what made me scared to do literally anything on the internet, including in this one because that had me ask the people around myself to tell me what they think about me ranging from my works to my behaviour with them and I sometimes worry that I might annoy them and possibly lose them in the process one by one all because of a stupid thing I am paranoid about and I live in great fear the day that this will ever happen to me and lose everything I worked so hard to make a majority happy with what I make like bunch of trees getting washed away by a huge flood sooner for the lands they were planted to be nothing but a drowned land that is now a part of the dirtiest side of the ocean.

Anyways sorry for the hyperventilation section, the next part I wanna talk about is something that takes guts to do so: Apologies, being forgiven and a line.

There is a line of someone being forgiven, if they are actually trying to get better from the crap they've done with their progress then maybe they can be but again, there IS a line. That line depends on the thing they have done including the damage caused ranging from various levels which also varies from person to person but there SHOULD be a line where you can say "that is far"

Just because a pedophile (if you're wondering why that is an example, just look at 2025 and how many people were exposed for doing the same thing) actually tries to learn from their mistakes and be a better person, they should be forgiven but NOT ENTIRELY forgiven. Those people take the innocence of underaged users and it is absolutely not something to be entirely forgiven, if not by a little. now to be the devil's advocate: At one time or another that innocence wouldn't be there forever, that and depending on their age and whether or not they are in the right age to be on the internet (which in my opinion should be 14 and above) HOWEVER, it is not the their fault that they got groomed by an old ass man and also I'm very sure that a lot of us here had unrestricted access to the internet, why is that a problem when it wasn't for us ? Which won't be a wrong thing because I also had that but due to how places have gotten on the internet, restriction should be done in any case possible but that's just my opinion

Those are just my opinion and there might be some errors in the grammar, just know that I am against these sort of things.

Now for a proper conclusion, what can you do to deal and not fall for such lies I just talked about ? Simple: Question both sides, don't get too much to their ground and stay as a bystander until a proper and truthful evidence is put into place that proves one of the sides wrong and the other right. Those are just my belief.

Apologies if this is too long and again, there might be some grammar errors, I do not support the stuff I talked about but I believe often times then not even the worst person can change IF they do not cross the line. That's all for me to talk about.
