The second DevLog of Skull and Bones!! Check it out!!!!


Hi there gamers!! What’s up? As you can see this is the second DevLog of our game SnB. We’ve made a lot of progress on our game on the past couple of days. Many of you may have already seen the screenshots. So, let’s start!!

Creating the first level:

If read the first DevLog, you already know that the player will be put in the secret base of Dr. Bones. During making the first level the first challenge was to make the 3D models for the Zombies and the whole base. Then, we started designing the levels. Then, we imported those models in our game engine and started crafting the levels. After one week of level designing we came up with the first level. We avoided making the level too big as it’s the first level.

The first level of our game is pretty easy. It’s so easy that any kid can play it.

Some time ago, we posted a screenshot of the Mexico level. A curiosity about it is that, like some other scenarios of the game, it was inspired by a real landscape, The Basaltic Prisms of Santa María Regla. It is one of the natural wonders of the country!
