Baseado na série bestseller de jogos de terror, Five Nights at Freddy’s segue uma jovem mulher chamada Charlotte, que se reúne com seus amigos de infância no aniversário da tragédia que devastou sua cidade distante. Tinham se passado exatamente dez anos desde os assassinatos na Pizzaria Freddy Fazbear, e Charlotte, que atende pelo nome de Charlie, passou os últimos dez anos tentando esquecer o fato. Seu pai era dono da Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza, e havia construído seus quatro mascotes animatrônicos em tamanho adulto. Depois de se reunir com os amigos, a curiosidade levou-os de volta para o velho restaurante, que estava escondido mas mesmo assim, ainda de pé. Eles descobrem uma maneira de entrar, mas as coisas não são mais como costumavam ser: os quatros mascotes que os encantavam e entretinham quando crianças mudaram. Os animatrônicos têm um segredo sombrio, e uma agenda assassina.
