The Steam release date has been set!


The release date of the official release of ‘It came from space, and ate our brains’ has been set. The game will be released on 19 March 2015 on Steam. Make sure to add the game to your wishlist and follow ourcommunity hub! Besides announcing the official release date of the game, we also released a new patch, details are listed below:

With all the feedback/suggestions gathered from our Closed BETA testers we were able to release a new patch. This patch contains several fixes and includes also some new features. Here is a list of the fixes:

Features

  • The leaderboards are now loading correctly;

  • Notification when you are able to upgrade your active weapon is now displayed correctly;

    • Controller support has been extended further;

    • The camera for walking down has been tweaked;

  • Not only the host hears impact sounds on aliens anymore, but everyone does.

Maps

  • Block Countryside: The water now ‘streams’;

  • Block Countryside: There is now some mist in the map near the farms’;

  • Block Highway: It is now raining in this map;

  • Block Highway: The map now contains lightning strikes;

  • Block Hospital: The lightning around the fountain the middle has been increased;

    • Black Crash Site: The lightning around the UFO has been increased;

  • Block City: There are now small burning papers flying around the map;

  • Block Planet: More floating objects in the map;

  • All maps now contain a bit more fire and smoke particles.

Enemies

  • Dodgers don’t get stuck in walls anymore;

  • Forcers don’t get stuck in walls anymore.

Weapons

  • Particles left-overs from weapons are not displayed anymore.
