(I decided this was too important to not do.)
I’ll let Vulp Grayson, the phone guy explain this one:
“I’m sure you’ve noticed a box on your desk, you may have even opened it. Inside is a remote. This is going to be your best friend in here… You see, the new guys, they were so confident they fixed any bugs, that they kinda didn’t give you any doors to close… or a mask to hide behind… Luckilly, I’ve thought ahead. This remote operates a system to create small, trace-less fires with no need for refueling. The downside is… it can only take so much stress before shutting down. See, the bots all have a security bypass… When they face an open fire, they’ll reset and move away from it, you can even create a fire in your office if one of them gets in, but that puts a much heavier strain on the system… I’d suggest not letting them in… Oh, but it won’t work on all the animatronics. There’s this puppet, he… kinda… flies over the fire… Oh, yeah! the puppet!…”
So, each night it starts at 0 and ticks up as used. At 100%, it’ll shut down, leaving you completely vulnerable to attack. At this point, all you can do is use your light to stave off Mik and Mah, fend off the puppet, watch Whisper and call Buddy. I wouldn’t recommend letting this happen.
Additionally, the system drains at a high rate, but it resets the bots, sending them away, with a subtle cue you’ll need to learn to conserve on your use, esspecially as the game continues.
So, cast votes for the next one. This one was quicker than I’d planned, because I thought I’d mentioned it before, but I guess I didn’t.
