The Tagey Charms. A look at Epictagey fnaw fangame. [articles]


Hi everyone hopefully you read the title of this article. I wanna talk about something that you likely have not though about in a while. EpicTageyGame FNaW fangame.

Recently I remembered my remake of high rollers and I was starting to think about the error I made with it. There a lot trust me. But I wanna focus on one particular egregious error. The game does not have the charms to it.

Lets me explain what I means. In the past I have been critical in way of Tagey FNaW fangame. However as I think about them and play them in recent time I have a new views on them. I enjoy those games. Despite every issue I had in the past with them I enjoy them and I think I was simply too harsh on them.

I want to call those game the most "FNaW" a fnaw fangame can be. It does not have the fanciest graphics ever. They are not even in widescreen. Like the original FNaW game.

Like FNaW each one of them change the formula from the last and do something more unique. CRE is similar to FNaW 3 as it was one of the earliest fan game. However High Rollers then change it up with a brand new setting an d new gimmick not seen since in a fan game. Then Trapped Within redoes the FNaW 3 style but better and more unique. Cabin Fever 1 take place in a game play style more similar to FNaF 4 and it work. The design are unique, same for the story and game play. Chapter 2 I would even say was fine. I like the design and I enjoy some of the game play ideas it had.

Like FNaW they are in a way simple. They do not have the crazy modern scrolling you see nowadays, they do not have 50 effect all at once, they do not attempt to do something insane in clickteam as many other fan game try to do now. They do not need too. You do not need to spend this much time and effort to do all of this to make a good game.

All of this give them a charms that no other fangame series properly create I think. They are all enjoyable game.

In the past I was way too harsh on them. It now may be my favorite series of FNaW fangame anyone ever made.

Rerolled lacked the charms that it needed I believe. The game did not try to do its own thing enough. It was just another remake.

I did the same mistake with Rebooted 2. I believe the game would have been great and I believe everybody who worked on it did amazing work. But in my mind it removed the charms the original game had that made it special for me.

In the future I hope to be less harsh toward game and instead enjoy them for what they are. In the future I hope I do not do the same mistake I did with Rerolled and Rebooted 2 and I try to properly capture the charms that make something specials.

I hope people can see the good of Tagey FNaW series. I hope I can be less harsh toward game. Go make game, go play game, go have fun.
