t all started when Sonic and tails Were exploring the ruins of a temple known only as The "Temple of tears."

Knuckles had warned them of stories involving a demon of sorts that lurked within. Sonic laughed it off, assuming it to just be a myth spread by the Echidna tribe.

Tails seemed more concerned with the story. Sonic cheered Tails up. "Don't worry buddy!" He said "You know Knuckles, He's had too many knocks to the head".

So, Sonic and tails were exploring the temple, finding stones, hinting towards the demon. "I'm scared" Tails complained "What if the demon Attacks us?!" Sonic stopped. He just stood there. "S-Sonic..?" Tails asked. Suddenly Sonic Lunged over at Tails "BOO! HA HA!" Sonic Shouted, Teasing with Tails.

"Don't do that!" Tails shouted As He playfully chased Sonic Around. "Can't catch Me!" Shouted Sonic Laughing the whole time. Suddenly Sonic stepped on a weak Spot and Fell Down into a Lower Part of the Temple.

"You Okay Sonic?!" Tails asked concerned for his spiky pal. "Yeah!" Sonic responded "This place reeks of Secrets!"

Tails lowered himself down and Followed Sonic Deeper into the temple. "Eww" Sonic exclaimed. "Look at all these bones!"

"It's the Demon i'm telling you!" Tails responded sounding quite scared. "Theres no Demon" Sonic responded feeling kinda annoyed at Knuckles for giving Tails such an idea.

"Geez" Sonic said "It's dark in here!" "Don't worry Sonic" Tails responded as he Grabbed something from behind him "I have a flashlight right here!"

"Where'd you get a flashlight?" Sonic asked. "I dunno" Tails responded.

"Oh well, Works for me!" Sonic and tails, Now Accompanied By A Light source, Continued down the Temple.

Suddenly A Pierce of Light Shined Onto them. "Woah!" Sonic shouted, "What's that?!"

They both Ran as quickly as they could to see what the Light was coming from.

And There, they Saw it. A Shiny Red Ruby. "Well well well" Sonic laughed. "Won't Knuckles be Jealous, Tails?"

Sonic looked Over, "Tails?!" He shouted "WHERE ARE YOU TAILS?!"

Suddenly he heard crackling and Looked over. There was Tails, Slowly walking over to the Ruby. Hypnotized by a voice coming from the Ruby.

The ruby whispered "Come here"

"Tails!" Sonic shouted "Don't touch it!"

Tails ignored Sonic And Laid his Palm onto the Ruby.

Suddenly it began to break and Crack, As A Black Substance Engulfed Tails.

"TAILS!" Sonic Screamed as He ran over to Stop Tails. 

but it was too late.

Tails started to deform and grow, his body twisted, bones breaking, as his body started to take over the ground below him.

“TAILS!!!” Sonic screamed. He ran over to pull the ruby that was now sticking out of his head. 

but a giant hand appeared and smacked sonic away.

Sonic didn’t have any choice but to run. and run he did.

He ran to Knuckles, who was staring up at the sky that turned into a dark red. “What. did. you. DO?!” Knuckles asked Sonic Aggressively. 

“I don’t know!” Sonic replied “Tails went Hay-wired and Touched Some Freaky ruby and Now he’s Changing into a beast!” 

“Sonic…” Knuckles responded “I know what we must do”.

Knuckles instructed sonic to follow him into the hidden palace, where they got to the master emerald. 

“We can use the master emerald to Remove the ruby from Tails’ Head” Knuckles explained. 

“Good idea Knuckles!” Sonic exclaimed. But suddenly a huge Spear grew from under the ground and destroyed the Master Emerald. 

“NO!” Sonic and Knuckles Shouted At the Same Time. 

Suddenly A Voice pierced the sky. “Foolish Children. Foolish Mortals This is the uprising. this is the rapture”

Suddenly, Tails’ Mouth Opened, as a Red Smoke like Substance filled the Air.

The ground began to trimble, as Pillars grew from underneath it. 

But that was just the beginning. Hands started forming and Growing at a rapid rate. Spikes grew and one of them unfortunately stabbed Knuckles.

“KNUCKLES!” Sonic screamed. as he went to pick him up. "Don't die on Me, knuckles Please! I can't lose another one!"

“S-Sonic...” Knuckles whispered, “RUN!”

Sonic Ran. He ran With all Of His strength.

All around Him, Everyone he knew Was Gone. He was Alone. All Because He wouldn’t listen to Knuckles. To Tails. He was Too Blinded By His Ego. 

Sonic found a ring. his only hope. He threw it, And Escaped. But not before looking back at his home world. not before looking at Tails.

“I’m sorry buddy” Sonic cried. “I’ll save you. don’t worry.”

And Just like that He was Gone. 

Sonic suddenly ended up in a new world. A Strange one. He didn’t know what to expect. All he knew was He needed to find a way to Save tails And Everyone Else. And He Won't stop Until Everyone is safe.

The Torn Hero Now wanders the Universe, Looking for a Path, An Answer, A Way to Bring Back All He Loves.
