With the empire of Thalassa Njord active once more, eyes turn to the twin emperors to rule them again. However, the emperors are more melancholy than ever, they built their kingdom to distract from the grief of losing their children when they were separated by the Handshaker's spell.

Both would soon come to find out that their children are closer than they think. One problem though, they're in Equestria and no one but they, and their still loyal subjects, know what truly happened. The Equestrian ponies are a suspicious and judgemental bunch, even while preaching ideas of friendship, they judge a book by its cover and seem to think in black and white.

The two sisters can keep their kingdom, ruling two kingdom's is too much effort and paperwork, the Emperor's are only after their children.

Alicorn Haiden and Lake, the twin emperors of the archipelago empire of Thalassa Njord, reminiscence about their children (not biological obviously, more adopted (Lucas) and surrogate/claimed (Ashley) children) while restoring their empire to it's former glory. Equestria, and the rest of the world, have been misinformed about the nature of their sealing, which will likely cause some problems down the line when the Twin Emperor's come to retrieve Lucas and Ashley.
