Hello everyone! It is 12 at night and the Ultimate Edition of SpongeBound has just been released. Before we get to the Ultimate Edition patch notes, fun fact! SpongeBound and some of SpongeBound Part 2 started off as fan fiction I wrote as a child. Yes, really. I still have the google doc to prove it. I would share it but the grammar is so bad, I think I’m the only one who can read it. Plus, the story’s a bit different in the fan fiction version than what actually happens in the game. Anyway, patch notes!

- Updated a lot of the game’s early maps!

- Added two new items! Fresh Soap (Removes several but not all status effects) and Revive Elixir (Revives a Character to Max Health and PP)

- When you open the menu, the game plays relaxing music after collecting the first Jelly Jar!

-When you become Confused you now have the chance of using skills on random targets.

- Added a Battle Memory to keep track of the enemies you’ve fought.

-You can now walk diagonally.

- Added a new “Limit Learning” System. Basically, every battle, the characters in your party earn a certain amount of LP (Limit Points) which increases if they take more turns. These Limit Points can be used to learn new one of a kind skills in the Limit Learning menu under skills!

- Added many new skills to the game as Limit Skills.

- Certain status effects now have negative and positive effects, for example, Sleeping prevents you from acting, but it heals 2% of your HP each turn!

- Angelique can no longer use PSI.

- Added a new optional dungeon which is available after getting the balloon. The dungeon explains some of the game’s backstory.

- Fixed some of the dialogue and typos (couldn’t get em all, but I did fix quite a few!)

- Mr. Krabs can now use his PP for certain limit attacks!

- Updated the Item Screen to provide you with more information.

- Added new battle transitions that play at random when entering a battle!
