The Unknown, a procedural horror game, has been unleashed here!

The Unknown is a procedurally generated horror game. This means that each time you play the game, the whole level and the experience changes, giving you new scares, new locations, new rooms, mechanics, etc. The more content I add to the game the more varied and dynamic each possible playthrough you get.

I just recently learned about Gamejolt, and in my mission to get the game into as many people’s hands as possible I have uploaded The Unknown here as well as on our main site.

If you like the idea of a procedural horror game, consider going to our game’s site to read up on my main project, Rebirth! The scares and atmosphere and immersion will be much better there and the gameplay and horror mechanics will be unveiled very soon!

In the meantime… please enjoy The Unknown! And keep your eyes peeled… as Oculus Rift support may be coming soon!

Today I was setting up the location of the first boss. His name is "Father" and he is the first of the Patagonians. His task is to guard the road to the House.🛡🗡 Bookmark pre-launch page🔖🔖🔖

In the quest for accessibility, I'm adding Resurrection Shrines for players on the 'novice' end of the platforming spectrum.

In order to unlock the power of a Shrine, you must collect 3 'Souls' from your dead corpses! (the floating blue orbs)

A house I've built a while ago. :)

It nicely separates the snowy biome from the grassy one.

It's built with painted Ebonstone.

Out of boredom and curiosity, I coded Sailor Jupiter's Argentine Backbreaker.

The Authority decided to investigate the Basement and leads to recovering classified documents Fun fact: The building has 928 doors and not 1000 doors. #horror
