“Excellent! There is no greater reason to risk death than for the reward of immortality.
And what is the Void, you ask? Physically, it is nothing. Magically, it is everything.
It is the source of magic, and a place where physical nature does not exist. However, the Void
is capable of imitating such a reality as we are familiar with.
“And the VoidGate offers a passageway, for us to enter into the Void in a physical sense. But,
the Void shifts and changes. No one can tell you what you’ll see exactly, except in a general sense.
Its walls and rooms are shifting places, directions, and size. Where there might have been trees and
mountains, there may now be a camp of monsters or volcanoes.
“And this is what makes the Void so dangerous. It will not give you immortality so easily, it will try to
kill you. It is riddled with horrendous and vile creatures wanting to kill you, traps that will crush or
poison you.
“Advice to survive? Grab what equipment you can, not to worry, anything you find early on is not
likely to be cursed. Once you have a weapon in hand and maybe some armor, your chances will be greater.
Be sure to eat once in a while and be careful where you tread. Most importantly, do not die.
