The Wild Road 0.4: THE WINTER UPDATE


  • WORLD SIZE IS NOW 201x201

  • Fixed that sometimes road would overwrite the Safe Haven

  • Fixed various bug that prevented you from achieving trophies

  • Added Body Temperature

  • Added “Seasons”: Warm Season and Cold Season (Winter)

  • Each season lasts 60 days.

  • During winter it snows instead of raining.

  • Staying outside during Snow, Rain, Night, or Cold Season (or swimming in water) will lower your temperature

  • You can freeze.

  • During the warm season you’ll slowly regain temperature during day

  • You can warm yourself more by passing time in a tent or house.

  • Improved rain graphical effect

  • Added snow and snow graphical effect

  • Added wolves and fighting.

  • Added “hit chance”

  • Added an inventory

  • Added 17 new items.

  • Flat Rock, Sharp Rock, Flexible Stick, Short Stick, Long Stick, Sword, Spear, Armor, Combat Armor, Steel Sword, Steel Armor, Stealth Vest, Large Backpack, Pillow, Wolf Fur, Animal Skin, Winter Clothes, Torn Steel Armor

  • Added “Equip”, “Unequip”, and “Drop” commands.

  • Added 5 crafting recipes.

  • Added “Wait” command (you will just spend a turn doing nothing)

  • Added a “Scavenge” command to obtain items

  • Scavenging in houses will give you food, or RARE ITEMS!

  • Removed in-game help, created a wiki: http://the-wild-road.wikia.com/wiki/Basics_of_Survival

  • Typing “help” in game will direct you to the wiki

  • “Buffed” Sickness.

  • Fixed a bug where getting an Achievement would crash the game.
