When a terrakian dies, their soul abandons their body to free themselves from their physical form.

The soul, then, ascends into the Paradise to roam around as a "Wanderer wind", and peacefully breezes through the scenery of their cities and towns.

There are, however, exceptions.

When a soul isnt fullfilled with their life and/or desires vengeance, is filled with rage, has left things undone and their toughts refuse to leafe them alone, they are blocked out of the Paradise.

They are unable to find peace in the Paradise, so then it seeks guideance. Anyone who the souls tries to speak to will lead them directly to Baphomet.

Baphomet, known as the "Blood-cursed" blacksmith, has ways and ways of manipulating souls at will. He performs various soul-rituals in order to help the souls redeem themselves and find their way into eternal peace.

Once the soul reaches the blacksmith, he begins his search for a bearer looking for a weapon. Each individual hellborn is able to get their own weapon, which is usually crafted by any blacksmith in the world, but only usable when it is soul-binded.

Baphomet's soul-rituals are possible to learn, however no other blacksmith has ever managed to perfect it the way he does, his weapons are unbreakable, untoucheable.

When a weapon, a bearer and a soul are provided, he performs the soul-binding ritual, where the weapon and soul are fused, and bonded permanently with the bearer's blood and spirit.

A soul-bonded weapon is absurdly strong, for it has free-will, it is "alive". It thinks. It reacts. It biulds its own power. It helps its bearer.

Soul-bonded weapons are exclusive to each and every bearer, which means, they cant be touched or used by any other than their own wielder. If someone tries to steal, touch or use a weapon that isnt their own, they will feel unbearable pain. Which, in terrakian terms, is the equivalent of getting burnt, shocked, drowned, frozen and poured acid onto, altogether.

When a soul-ritual is succesfull, the weapon is nominated a Demonic weapon.

Now, you may ask, what happens to the bodies that souls leave behind?

You see, they become Iners, creatures born from hollowed corpses left behind to rot.

Even though an Iners takes over the appearence and body the soul left behind, they do not retain memories or experiences the soul once felt.

Iners are cold and pale, much because they are corpses. They also lack blood.

Once the soul and body are separated, they no longer hold any relations between themselves, and go separate ways.
