Since 6 years ago, an RPG has existed over the internet where you didn't have to harm a single spirit. Undertale. Because of it's massive popularity it gained over time, another game was released that was considered somewhat a sequel - Deltarune. It's been about 6 months since Deltarune's Chapter 2 was released, and the community has gone crazy with it. Both Undertale and Deltarune. But could this game chronologically take place after its earlier counterpart, Undertale? Let's find out. When Toby was asked if Deltarune took place after Undertale, he answered that it was a different story with different people, but he also added that this doesn't necessarily mean that there wouldn't be any similarities between the two. I remember watching a Youtube video that analyzed if Deltarune was in an alternate universe to Undertale, or an alternate reality. The conclusion was that it was an alternate universe. But could it mean that Deltarune takes place in an alternate universe after an Undertale True Pacifist Route? Personally, that's my headcanon, and I have quite a few good reasons.
Sans refers to us the same way he does in Undertale. Example: "kiddo."
Kris has a very similar look to Frisk, but seen wearing one of Azzy's shirts. This doesn't mean much. It's possible that this version has a different name, however.
If this is true, then this means that there had to be a point in time in which all Undertale characters in Deltarune and their original appearance were 100% the same person.
If I am correct, the Light World in Deltarune is the surface. In the True Pacifist Route, the monsters and Frisk escape the underground. This fits perfectly with the setting and main plot of Deltarune. Frisk gets older, still living with Toriel, but Asriel is still in his ordinary form, and goes to college, as they are older than Frisk/Kris. The human attends high school, and meets Susie.
