So the background will stay black for the whole of the game, I did not anticipate that, it just makes everything a lot easier!
I have also added some clouds, they popped out by default and let the ship and the bullets stay in the background, I like that, it will stay! Scrolling backgrounds will probably take some time… but it made my vision of what this will be in the end a lot more informed! I will let the ship be like this, maybe there will be some background that moves steadily out of the picture, but making that repeat itself is just a hasle when dealing with a userinterface, so except less logic to be implemented and features that dont need a lot of logic to work! This project has helped me a lot with learning how I could make this thing work… I am already impressed that I got 30 views (I hope the times I tested out how the game looked in the browser did not count) I have in my mind the idea that I want to finish this to some degree, I could make this about being an endless killing fest, but I think I can gain some value by trying to create an experience that has a lot more pacing than what I aspired to make previuosly, I am very much a beginner, I just know too much for my own good. I want to get into art too! Right now its just scribbling on some paper, but if I just have the time I am sure I can do anything, right now thats possible, but I also want to make this somewhat rewarding, and it has been. Through the more than high view count, in relation to the amount of energy I have put in. So in short, work with what you have and it will serve you in the long run! I also can not wait to push some games I will make with Monogame on Gamejolt! My sister bought me a german Videotraining about monogame and I just want to see what I can do with it when I am through with that. Thats for the summer though ;)
