It was about a serial killer, and the settings included an isolated town in which the killer was believed to be roaming about. They also included a bustling city where the killer wasn’t quite well known.
Gameplay of clowning around involved you as an investor who could pay out additional funds at will or wait for the business to start turning profits. You could invite guests to a fancy party to invest in the company or pay with certain investments for entertainment. After establishing your reputation with the business, you can decide if you want to join the board and how much you want to invest. Once a crime is committed however, the game enters the next stage where a successful investigation of the crime is used as the key for guessing clues. Each clue has a probability of producing clues and of producing a crime. Through investigating crimes, solving an investment clue and waiting for some time, clues can reveal one potential clue and the murders will yield additional clues if you solve find them in time.
If by any chance the investigator gets to the end of a stage, they fight with the boss, who is revealed to be the murderer of the previous victim. He gives the investigator a card that he explains he is keeping from his victim and which helps the investigator kill the murderer. The second fight has the investigator fighting the murderer, who has the boss’s identity. After a shootout and arrest, you move on to the next of 100 stages.
The game was received greatly by the public but was pulled from steam on the creators request for unknown reasons.
