This one's a lil different from my usual arts, but I like to explore different genres from time to time :3

Since I haven't talked about this project of mine yet (yes another one), allow me to drop some lore real quick...

The artwork shows what a Zodiac Manifestation looks like, specifically Gemini.

Long ago, fortune tellers were powerful magicians capable of seeing one's future or fate.

It started when a prophet found out about "zodiac magic" and used it to warn people for disasters and help those lost in life.

This discovery, knowledge and technique was passed down through multiple generations, and helped humanity flourish to what it is today.

Unfortunately, there was one rule which was bound to be broken...

You cannot change someone's future.

Because if you do, the zodiac sign within will manifest into an uncontrollable and dangerously powerful beast.

A zodiac manifestation depends on the sign and generally has superhuman strength, intelligence and a desire for blood.

It also has shapeshifting capabilities, but mainly used as basic disguises or intimidation by changing facial features at will for example.

This transformation is permanent and cannot be reverted.

Whenever such a tragedy occurs, all you can do is to kill the zodiac manifestation, which is not an easy task.

Fortunately, this is why most zodiac magicians nowadays stay low and try to prevent such events from happening.

Not everyone does though...
