Things I learnt about Germans on holiday:

1. They're all old

2. They all smoke

3. All their cool stuff is literally hours upon hours apart by car (my legs still hurt sitting 3 hours at a time)

4. Half of them speak English, who needs Duolingo anyway ;)

Although it's kinda ironic how you go to another country expecting to dispel popular stereotypes but you just end up inventing new stereotypes in your head
