jamil's signature spell to hypnotize people no longer makes them call him "master" (i think this was a reference to jafar repeatedly telling the genie he was his master)

the relationship between jamil and kalim (while jamil technically isnt a slave in the jpn version, understanding how low his status as a servant was is important to understanding how kalim's actions werent the greatest; this is why eng only ppl dont understand that kalim did anything wrong or why jamil cant just quit if he hates him so much) (i think this is for the better tho considering """servants""" being canon to the twst universe and everyone being okay with it raises some questions, alongside the fact that both of the characters in this relationship are middle eastern so its not a good look overall, but this whole thing is so engrained into jamil's character that they can't reasonably remove it without messing up his character) (i think the only way they could've salvaged this would be if they rewritten book 4 completely but seeing that everyone already disliked the translation by the time book 3 was out, they could've gotten alot of backlash from changing the story halfway through)

vil's dislike of epel's swearing has been altered to a dislike of epel's accent (so they can remove epels swearing) which just makes him seem like he looks down on people from the country)

vil's line abt disliking people who cant differentiate between fiction and reality was removed (i think they were scared people were gonna argue abt him being proship or something??)

and finally, crowley makes alot of egg references, apperantly the whole game has theme around eggs in jpn, even toboso yana (writer/illustrator(?) of twst en, also author of black butler) mentioned it during the chef event
