You might be wondering what all is gonna be in the demo. Here’s a list of things you can expect from the demo:
You will be able to honk every character on the snout selector.
You will have a handy control panel on the game screen. This awesome thing lets you restart the power when it goes out. You can also reboot the character you’re honking, if they’re acting a little grumpy. And last, you can pack-a-honk, which will make you crazy powerful when you honk a snout (it only lasts for a short while, though).
You can access an options menu on the snout selector screen, which allows you to enable/disable V-Sync, or delete all of your save data. I’m still thinking about other things I can add to it. Feel free to make any suggestions!
A very horrific jumpscare sound.
One trophy (out of many) is now unhidden.
A new and improved login screen (for your Game Jolt account). This one will tell you if you’re able to connect to Game Jolt, or if your username/user token is invalid.
A loading screen when you choose a character. This screen has different tips and trivia about Honky Snouts 2 (it also has a spinning GameCube disc of Honky Snouts).
A new death screen for the animatronics, which is quite a bit different from the one in the first Honky Snouts.
The honk and yelp sounds are much more quiet now.
That’s the majority (if not all) of the new features. I might add in an ending and/or minigame, if enough of you ask for it. You’ll have to speak up soon, though, or else I might not have enough time to add one in. Just remember, if some of you want one ending or minigame and I don’t get to add it to the demo on December 25th, that doesn’t mean I can’t update the demo later.
Thanks for taking the time to read this. I hope you have a great day! :)
