Wake Me Never

This article introduces three characters from a visual novel project, highlighting their unique personalities and roles in the story.

Arima Masashi has a lighthearted and friendly style. He's laid-back but never disrespectful — more like the kind of person who can ease even the tensest situations with a well-timed joke or a warm smile. He doesn't like to overthink things and usually acts on instinct. At heart, he's optimistic and carefree, but beneath the surface, he's more sensitive than he appears. He makes friends easily, and people are drawn to his open, genuine attitude.

Takeda-sensei is an average, calm art teacher who is patient with his students. He isn't particularly strict, but he is consistent: he cares about helping his students bring out their own potential rather than meeting others' expectations. He encourages quietly — rarely using big words of praise, but instead offering small, gentle comments. His appearance is modest, and he doesn't like to draw attention to himself. At times, he seems a little dreamy, as if he's lost in thoughts about his own artwork, but whenever a student asks for help, he listens carefully and gives thoughtful, wise advice.

Sugimoto Hisoka is a quiet, reserved student who rarely finds herself at the center of attention. She's more of an observer than a leader — she listens more than she speaks, noticing every small detail around her. Hisoka is sincere and sensitive by nature, and although she rarely opens up to others, those who earn her trust discover a deeply caring and loyal side. She carries strong emotions inside, especially her secret feelings for Ken, which she keeps hidden. Her appearance is modest, and she tries not to stand out, but those who pay attention can easily sense the gentle warmth and subtle kindness she carries within her.
