This is a send off message to Rec Room.


For anyone who is familiar with the game, then you probably know that it is shutting down for good today at 1:00pm pacific time. I was honestly surprised when I heard about it back in March, and now it’s finally here.

Yes, I played Rec Room on and off for the last 4 years of its life and it honestly seemed better than VRChat, even though I don’t really touch VRC. It felt like it had more creative freedom, it was like the Roblox of VR. I’d met people, awesome and despicable. It’s unfortunate that it’s shutting down, I was originally trying to re-create some Five Nights at Wario’s stuff. It was gonna be the closest thing to Five Nights at Wario’s in VR and now it seems that will never happen for the time being.

Rec Room, you’ve had some good and bad moments but overall you were a good game and you will be missed.
