I know that there are a lot of people who do not like Virus J Total Madness, I know that even chapter 2 will not like at all, because the truth is that the game is completely out of what is a FNAF, which is a game to be still with camera mechanics and the like, most of the community likes more classic fangames could say, and I know that they will not like virus j at all, because right now with chapter 2 and 3 we are trying to replicate more a game like resident evil or silent hill (without weapons obviously) this is a decision that I really like BlackHat more, because I want a new vision in what can be a fangame of fnaf, something bigger,
I always liked the free roam fangames more, because they were more scary and I felt more the terror that something was chasing me than having an animatronic in front of me and having to light it until it runs away, the clickteam games don't scare me personally, they can give me a scare because of the jumpscares but nothing more than that, I never get caught by the atmosphere of those games, only 2 have really scared me.
there are also games that you can't die but you still get scared because you get deep into the atmosphere and you feel observed, an example can be 2 games of phisnom (a shadow over freddys and porkchops adventure) these games are my favorite because you feel really scared or at least you feel a kind of real danger you could say, like the games of @Rarithlynx that those games are free roam and have a dark atmosphere, also I was more influenced by sinister turmoil (the original version) all these games I feel that can have more impact to the player and that's what we are replicating now with the new chapters of the game, we want to make it really scary to play the game and have an insecurity of not knowing where the monsters are, and not having everything at your fingertips with a camera and you pass and relax, we want to make the player uncomfortable and scary in this one, also the story is not for everyone, the story was originally going to be darker, but being a fnaf fangame I had to soften the story of the game, this is because the stories that are ''normal'' for a common horror game like ''outlast'' or similar, in fnaf is something that should not happen, what we are going with all this message is that from now on we will not limit ourselves in the aspects of horror in the game, we will do something different from the usual and most likely we will attract a new audience or perhaps different from the one that is really aimed at the game, we hope you really like Virus J Total Madness.
with the new stuff we are doing, that would be all the message we wanted to give.
we hope for the best and that you like the game we are creating now.
