This is canon because it's cool to me. :)


Whenever the souls die, the vessels become greyscale and their wounds would stay on their bodies until they respawn.

So for example, if Alice's (Cream's) ear got scratched so badly that blood is pouring out, the scratch would stay there and wouldn't heal at all.
